Duster Theme problems with featured post alignement

  1. Hi guys! i need help in the new duster template. i see the duster preview image http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/duster/
and i'm just trying to make my blog looks like that.

    there's one problem.
when i look at my i see that the featured "sticky" post is aligned all on the left

    WTF?!

    can u see?

look at the featured post. it's not like the original duster theme.

    how can i resolve it?

The blog I need help with is scusateritardo.wordpress.com.

  2. alignment

  3. Your blog is displaying correctly ie. the way it it is coded to display. The Duster theme does not display a sidebar on single pages and posts. Is that what you are referring to or not?

  4. I think im having the same problem with my blog I see no other post in the sub-navigation for the feature page.

  5. @sonoarrivato, is what you are wanting is the full-width image?

  6. ehy.. i don't know how and why but seems that my problem solved itself.

the full width image for the featured post is easy to make. just put an image "1300x900" as "featured image" in the post. easy.

    @afileo

you have to create a "new page" and in theme template choose "showcase template". easy ;)

Thanks for the suggetion, trust me I tried already and for some reason I haven't been able to get it working. All I want to do is to resemble the duster theme layout out feature in the theme page which clearly states "Feature & Sticky" but I haven't been able to do this on my blog.

Any help would be highly appreciated, cheers

    Regarding http://blogafi.org/
    Step by step ...
    1. Did you create a static page, and choose the Showcase Template under page templates, and assign it as the front page of your blog in Settings -> Reading?
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-attributes/#template
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/
You may specify another page for your blog posts at the same time.
    Did you do these things?
