    I changed the name and URL of my blog from lifeasiknowitphotography.wordpress.com TO lindabarryphotography.wordpress.com. I was able to change my user name and all that with ease. However, it will NOT let me change my e-mail address, saying it's already been taken, which doesn't make sense. Help!!

    The blog I need help with is lindabarryphotography.wordpress.com.

    sorry i do not have an answer for your question but i liked your website. very well done. i just want to know how you did "like me on facebook" and "follow me on twitter" icons? (at the bottom of the page)? are these widgets or something? thanks a lot.

    @linda Check out these instructions, I use the google "+" trick for a lot of things and it works really well. WP allows only one email address per account, so your original email is in the system and can't be used again.

    @leza I believe those are widgets in the footer. Check out the different themes and you may be able to find something like it, Linda is using Triton Lite

    thanks mikedariano, i will use that theme and check if there are widget like that. Does that mean widgets are theme-based or widgets are theme independent (same widgets are available for all themes)?

    You have two separate email address settings at WordPress.com. Have you entered two different email addresses at these locations (see below) or have you entered the same one at both locations?

    Blog notifications for the admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.

    Personal notifications (like comments on your post, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.

    You can also enable sharing buttons on your posts, pages and index pages.
    Also note the “like” button.

    I don't understand why you can't have the same address for all notifications? I only have one blog.

    You can use one - using two is optional.

    @timethief, but it doesn't let me use one email for all my notifications. I'm sorry, this must be frustrating for you, haha. I'm not very good at this.
