e-mail address change?

  1. I changed my e-mail address on my profile and received an e-mail at the new address to click the provided link to change my address. But every time I do, I have to log on to my account which still says a change to my e-mail is pending. The link does not take me to a place to verify the change. How do I do this?

    The blog I need help with is cbbandg.com.

  2. You have two separate email address settings at WordPress.com.

    Blog notifications for the admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.

    Personal notifications (like comments on your post, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.

    Try changing it at http://wordpress.com/#!/settings/ first.

    If that doesn't work, try Users -> Personal Settings in your blog's Dashboard.

  3. Both places list that the change is pending, but nowhere is there an option to approve the change. Does this just take a while? I changed it this morning.

  4. The e-mail address associated with your account is a Hotmail address. Is that the address you wanted to use? if not, let us know the new e-mail address. I'll remove the e-mail address from this thread once I read it.
