Eat, Sleep, Write, Repeat - The Humble Blog of an Aspiring Young Writer

  1. Well, of course, I figured that this was worth a shot. (: my blog - Eat, Sleep, Write, Repeat ... and I say young, but I feel older and older all the time. Nineteen, if you were wondering.

I've been blogging for a few months now, and really, I'd just like to advertise and see where it may take me; I decided not to go to University or continue on in education this year (a number of reasons, money being one of them), but there's no way I can keep myself from writing. The thing is, my initial idea was that this would, primarily, be creative writing. Excellent. Writing more in a year than I ever have done in my life. But writing book reviews and essays has proven to be just as mentally stimulating, and just what I need.

The blog content is mostly personal - personal opinions, personal ideas, developing my own, personal writing - because I don't feel at all qualified to post tutorials or too many tips on how to write, seeing as how I'm a developing writer myself. Now, normally, I'll start blogs left, right and centre, but because I don't have much to focus on concerning my posts, then tend to fizzle out.

But Eat, Sleep, Write, Repeat ... I actually, genuinely care about it. I want to make it work. I feel that it's finding its feet, and I'd like to push it further, get more out of the blogging experience than I have in the past. I'm also finding that, where I'd have blank spots concerning what the content would be in the past, I'm brimming with ideas and excited to post - I look forward to blogging. This has never happened before.

So really, just swing by if you like the sound - then close that window/tab/etc. if you're not impressed by what you see. I can but try. (:

The blog I need help with is eatsleepwriterepeat.wordpress.com.

  2. Victoria, Congratulations in finding writing at a young age. I am on the other spectrum. I am a new writer at the ripe old age of 45. I have taken two writing classes, had a short story published in the I LOVE CATS magazine, just finished my first novel, and I still don't feel qualified to give advise to anyone on writing! I do love to read and write. Thank you for sharing and I plan on visiting often. The best of luck to you!
