   Dear Sir

   I have already written to you, about 3 weeks ago but not had a reply. I started a blog in 2009 entitled http://www.edalouise.wordpress.com. I have not used this blog for a while and cannot remember the email address I set up or the password. Please can you let me know how I can log into this account as I now need to create a new blog using edalouise.

   You can use your username instead of your email address to regain access to your account. On the sign-in page, click on "Lost your password?" (from the homepage at wordpress.com click on "Help") and enter your account username.

   thank you for your reply. Unfortunately I can't remember the email address or password. I have used the password resend function but think it may be sent to an old email address. ;)

   Take a look at the support page about passwords that I linked to. At the end of the lost passwords section there is a part entitled "If You Don’t Have Access To Your Recovery Methods" with instructions about how to regain access if you can't use the traditional password recovery approach.
