The dialog box where one edits or creates text for a blog post entry has been shrinking and now is so narrow that I cannot add or edit text in either new or existing posts. I have a screen capture I can share. I really need help.

Hi there,
I can help with that. Move your mouse to the lower right hand corner of the text box (you will see two diagonal lines). Your mouse should change to the Resize pointer (double arrows). Click and drag and you can re-size the box to whatever size you like.
