Hi, I want to use Silver_lexus theme but I don't like the transparent layer over all the theme.

It sounds like you're hosting your own WordPress blog because wordpress.com doesn't let you install themes yourself. Support for WordPress (not dot com) is at http://wordpress.org/support/
