vclradminI'm wondering if anyone can point me to resources, or provide suggestions for ways to establish blogging ground rules and parameters for setting up private/public content that suitably protects school-age children participating in a blog. I'm not looking for information about moderating content so much as information about ways to structure access to content and perhaps suggestions about types of content.

Hello,
It depends on the host that you are using for these blogs. If you are using wordpress.com, if you go to the "Post" page, on the right hand side there is a toolbar that allows you to change the visibility of the post. You can click on "Visibility" and choose either "password protected" or "private."
