Elemin: link formatting in posts

  1. I have the custom design upgrade and would like to change the way the links are formatted within Elemin posts. I would like the font color to be the same as the surrounding text and the link to be indicated with a dotted underline. I've looked through the CSS code for the theme but can't figure out which element controls the link appearance.

    My blog is Our Polity (http://susanbarsy.com).

    I appreciate your help.
    Thank you,
    SB

    The blog I need help with is susanbarsy.com.

  2. Give this a try:

    .entry-content a {
    	color: #000;
    	text-decoration: none;
    	border-bottom: 1px dotted #000;
    }

    The ".entry-content" part makes it so the rule only affects links inside post or page content areas.

  3. Thanks. This worked, but I didn't use it because it didn't have the effect I wanted. Thanks though. SB

  4. You said you wanted link font color to be the same as the surrounding text and have a dotted underline. Did you want something different than that?

  5. That's exactly what I thought I wanted, but then I didn't like the effect when I tried it (which is not a fault of the code :) ).

    Now that I have the sample code you sent me, I know enough CSS to modify the link appearance in the posts however I want. Eventually I will figure out what looks best and change it.

    As far as I'm concerned this matter is resolved.
    Thanks again!
    SB

  6. I see! Thanks, and good luck. :)
