It's kind of weird not knowing how many notifications you're getting. And now they have new icons beside the actual notifications, like replies to comments and such. Meh, I guess it could be worse.

About a hour ago I received a like on a post the icon changed to a star as well. I prefer the number version vs this new version. =/

Liked the old version better... especially since this one keeps telling me I have new comments when I don't each and every time I log in....
Does it count Askimet Spam? Otherwise I can't figure it out.
Sigh.... wish they would stop "fixing" things that aren't broken......

I quite like it, but don't really need to see notifications for all the 'likes'. Particularly not on posts on which I've disenabled it!

I also miss the number, but it topped out at 9 anyways. Simplicity is good.
