   Is there any option for someone to be notified if a posting or change is made to a particular blog post or page?

   The FAQ's are your friend. Try this FAQ I got by typing "email" into the FAQ searchbox: http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/10/11/how-can-i-offer-email-updates/

   The email subscriptions are for new posts. If someone wants to follow changes, they can subscribe to your feed(s).
