Hi all,
We are currently experiencing some problems with the notification of new posts via email to the viewers of the blog. Some receive the notification email, and others don't. We have tried to solve the matter ourselves (in the forum and in the support site) but haven't managed to get an answer. Can anyone help us with this?

My post didn't get e-mailed this morning either and my numbers are down because of it.
I even tried "unpublishing" my post and re-publishing, to no avail. My numbers today are half what they were yesterday and today's post has hardly gotten any hits. Makes me wonder if I should avoid posting tomorrow if the same thing is going to happen. Where are the support staff?

I did get a response, from Jeremy, and this is what he said: "I have searched our database for emails sent to your address, and it seems that we failed to send emails for this post. We are sorry about this issue, and if you experience other issues with future posts, do not hesitate to let us know as soon as that happens."
I still don't know why or how an e-mail failed to go out, since presumably this is an automatic code-based command.
Thanks for the info! In our case, though, the problem is slightly different. Some members get the email but others don't. I presume it's some kind of configuration problem...
I have a similar issue. I haven't received any emails whatsoever from the blogs I follow and I know some of my readers haven't received emails about my posts either.
There are also posts missing in the reader/blogs I follow.
I have also noticed a decline in numbers on my blog.
I posted about my problem, too but have not received any real answer.

Well, it's good to see that this is a problem as I'm a school teacher and my students blog, but I'd not been receiving email notifications. However, that also means that I don't get an immediate notification of a student's post of a blog via email, which means that the student may have back dated his posting date, and I don't have the email as back up to say -- you didn't post on the day you claim. I've noticed this problem of not receiving the email since February.
I'm having the same issue - I did not get an email notification of my post today.
I have flagged this thread for Staff attention. Please be patient while waiting for a response.
Regarding the folks who don't receive the emails, would you please ask them to check their spam folders?
I just checked again, nothing in the spam folder either.
Are you one of the subscribers, and what is the URL of the affected blog?
After I noticed the problem, I subscribed toy own blog to test it. Highneeds.wordpress.com.
And it literally is the case with every single blog I follow. I never get an email for any of them.
Ah, I see the problem here. A while back, you chose to block all subscription emails from us.
Just visit http://wordpress.com/#!/following/subsettings/ and uncheck "Block all email updates from blogs you’re following on WordPress.com "

I suspect my problem may be different. As since it's a school assignment, and the students know that I should receive e-mail updates of when they post, they have likely chosen to not provide me with e-mail updates of when they posted.
I've checked spam folders, and there's nothing there.
Of 121 student blogs, I can't begin to identify which I'm receiving and which I am not.
There is no way for a blogger to prevent an email from being sent if you have subscribed.
If it's published, you'll receive it.
What is one of the blog you have not received email from?
I found mine in my spam folder. That was weird - I had checked (and searched) my spam folder earlier. Oh well. It's there now and I've added the email to my address book.
can you please check email notifications for my blog? I have done a few test posts and have not received an email notifying me of the new post, neither has my friend who I added on before adding a bunch of other emails. We both checked our spam blocker and nothing is there.
