I'd like to know if it's possible to send my followers a notification of a new post (as opposed to the entire new post) via the Follow My Blog widget. I thought my emails were previously notifications, but they now seem to include the entire post... I've mined through the options without success.

I note that you have your RSS Feed set to summary. You can edit the existing posts and insert "the more tag" into the posts. Therefater yopu can insert the more tag into each posts as your create it. Do note that will result in only excerpts of posts on the front page of the blog followed by a link to click to read the full posts on their own pages.

So were my notifications always going out as full posts, and I just didn't realize it? Could it have to do with changing themes?

I don't know what caused this and can't say if it was related to changing themes or not. All I can see is that your feed is set to summary.
