Hello, I am trying to embbed this TED video http://www.ted.com/talks/dan_pink_on_motivation.html but is not working on my site http://www.andresnunez.com. However, I see that is working on a wordpress site http://sharingmatters.com/

Thanks, but that is exactly what I am doing...the short code of the TED video that I am pasting is [ted id=618] but it comes up with an error message:
Unable to play the video specified: http://video.ted.com/talks/embed/DanielPink_2009G-embed_high.flv
I even bought the video upgrade but it is not working either.

They're all on YouTube. TED has its own channel on YouTube.
@andresnunez -You do not need the Videopress upgrade in order to embed/play 3rd party videos in your WordPress.com blog. The Videopress upgrade is if you want to upload and play your own videos.
I could also not get that specific TED video to embed in my test blog and it almost seems like TED has disabled embedding it, at least from the TED site. As universalgeni has pointed out, there is thankfully an alternate source
You can also use the gigya shortcode instead. Copy this part of the regular embed code:
<embed src="etc etc etc etc"></embed>
and turn it to this:
[gigya src="etc etc etc etc" ]
