   Frankly, I am hacked off with Apple and Adobe that they can't sort their bickering out in a way that doesn't bother the rest of us, but meanwhile I would really like to embed audio in the my wordpress.com blog in a way that works on the ipad Safari browser. The current sweet little Flash player that has done the job for so long, doesn't show. Just blank space, not even a warning to say something is missing from the page.

   So, is there any other way to embed audio without Flash?

   The blog I need help with is realstrings.wordpress.com.

   Not of which I'm aware. You can, of course, link to it, but that's it. All the other options including SoundCloud are also flash-based.

   With wordpress being very pro open source, I would expect they will get something going with HTML 5 and such pretty soon.
