I'm trying to embed some flash video... it's not working... this is the link i have from NBC... can anyone help me with this?

Flash video does not work here. It's stripped out for security reasons. You can convert at least SOME flash into Gigya shortcode and embed it that way. You'll find instructions for that on http://wpbtips.wordpress.com
One other thing to consider is that Adobe is killing flash on mobile, so there won't be any flash support for smart phones or tablets (never was for iPhones, iPads or iPod Touches), so that cuts out a big part of web users when you using flash. The alternative (HTML5) is not fully here yet, and I don't know if wordpress.COM is going to support the HTML5 video tag as a direct embed or not. Only time will tell what is going to happen on that front.
