   I have tried to add a picasa slideshow and for some reason upon posting the code seems to be erased.

   Here is a screencast of what I meant:

   Any ideas would be very helpful!

   Picasa slideshows are not supported here. Here is a support document on what is supported: http://support.wordpress.com/slideshows/ .

   found a work around...

   fyi those who want to use picasa slideshows:
   http://blog.vodpod.com/2007/09/07/posting-videos-to-wordpresscom-with-the-post-to-wordpress-button/

   just open the area of picasa where it generates the embedded code and then click the post to wordpress.

   hope that helps anyone trying to figure this out :)

   Ah, I hadn't thought of vodpod for doing the slideshows. Thanks for posting that workaround for other also.
