Has anyone had any success embedding videos directly from youtube into the sidebar? I can do this in actual posts, but when I try to use the same process in the widget, it doesn't seem to work. I'd use the vodpod tool, but visually, none of its options are big enough for what I want. Unfortuantely, I can't share an example with you because I can't make the site public yet... Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

This has been asked and answered many times before. The answer is : You cannot post a Youtube video in your sidebar except by using the Vodpod widget.

Um, caveat as mentioned in that post @sanjidas linked to: any size you want that doesn't exceed the width of your sidebar.
