I am trying to embed a video into my blog. I've tried two different videos and neither have worked. When I view my post it just appears as the code. This particular blog http://keraunophile.wordpress.com is private so would that make a difference?
Am I doing something wrong? I've followed the help sheet to the letter and I've managed it successfully on my other blog.

1. when you added the shortcode did you make sure you to add it in HTML mode and not in visual mode?
if you add the code in "visual mode" it still should work, but occasionally the editor won't intreprate it correctly, so try the HTML mode.
