Emoticons won't show up and I've checked the appropriate box

    I've checked the appropriate box in settings to display emoticons. I used the proper format in the list of similies provided on the wordpress site, updated the settings after I checked the box and I still don't get emoticons on my blog. Just the similies that I typed in are showing.
    Any ideas anyone??

    At this time, there is no way to modify the smilies.
