Enable "No Side Bar" in Photography Theme

    I was able to hide the sidebar in my blog posts within the photography theme and all of a sudden I can't (change to theme I guess). Can anyone help me rectify this?

    The blog I need help with is heatherdalyphotography.com.

  2. Hi there,

    This theme is a third-party theme, and it looks like a similar question to yours was asked here:
    http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/topic/blog-page-in-full-width?replies=6#post-17972

    It looks like the theme doesn't natively support the ability to go full-width in blog posts, but that you can if you're comfortable editing CSS.

    If you feel like you'd like to give it a shot, let me know and we can work through it together :)

  3. I just found this, and I love how http://heatherdalyphotography.com/ looks! What a great example of the Photography theme and custom CSS! Also, I admit to being a sucker for good photos. :)

    I think it would look nicer if the menu were full width instead of being a little off-center as it is right now. Try playing around with this CSS in your Appearance → Custom Design → CSS editor to see if this looks better to you:

    #navigation {
    	overflow: hidden;
    	width: 100%;
    }

    #navigation {
    	text-align: center;
    	border-bottom: 1px dashed #DFDFDF;
    	border-top: 1px dashed #DFDFDF;
    	line-height: 2em;
    	padding-top: 8px;
    }

    #navigation ul {
    	border: 0;
    	display: inline-block;
    	float: none;
    	margin: 0;
    	padding: 0;
    }

    Thanks for all input! I think I have solved the problem...

    Design Simply- Thanks for the compliments. I added the code- did it do what you said it would? I was not entirely sure what you meant.

    Quick question- can I get rid of the "wordpress" at the bottom of my blog?

    Thanks again...
    Heather :)

  5. It looks like your menu is centered, as @designsimply suggested. The blog looks awesome!

    We do require the WordPress and theme credits stay in the footer. Although trust me, no one is looking at your footer with those amazing photos :)

    Thanks so much zandyring! I love the compliments :). I did most of the changes myself and I am pretty proud of how it looks :)...

  7. It's lovely :)
