i have the following message on my blog page:
not found, sorry but you're looking for something that isn't here. i just want something extremely plain & have thus removed pretty much all of the widgets. after doing that, the message occurs.
any ideas?

Yes. Firstly we need an active link starting with http:// to the blog in question. Secondly, if you delete the Hello World placeholder post and then don't publish any posts but only create pages that's the reason your are getting that error message. As soon as your publish a post it will be gone.
