Excerpt not working in my theme

    hi!
    I'm using DePo Masthead theme. Excerpts do not seem to work on this theme. I would like to first display excerpt which would then be linked to the main article. How do I achieve this?

    The blog I need help with is metalochak.wordpress.com.

    DePo Mashead is not a theme that supports customizable excerpts:

    But you can split your posts by using the "read more" tag:
