someone else using my pc accessed WordPress Search and typed in my blog name to access my blog as a viewer, not user. She received a message to say excessive use, please contact and explain. Contact who? And why?

No. She's not a member, she wasn't logged in. She had accessed WordPress.com via yahoo, then clicked through to wp.search. She has done it before, wanting to see my posts. She's not outstanding IT literate.
I can't explain what the error message was all about.
I rarely, if ever use WordPress.com search. Google search by far faster and I know that because I use it every day here answering questions and I've been doing that for over 6 years. The WordPress.com search engine indexes post, pages, and comments content (body text). Unless entered as text in those contents, blog name, post titles, and post/comment author names are not indexed. http://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpresscom-search/
In answer to your points, I'm not yet coming up on google (too soon); and crimsonprose is there as part of a post, and of the about page. But as said, dear friend is not particularly IT literate and the message had worried her, she thought she'd done something dire. But, thanks for trying, Appreciated.
