Excluding Header on Some Oxygen Theme Pages

  1. Is there any css I can use to exclude the header (and maybe even the navigation menu) on only certain pages? I have the custom design upgrade and am using the Oxygen template.

    Thanks!

    The blog I need help with is sundoglit.com.

  2. To hide the header and navigation on certain pages, first view the page source and look at the class names on the body tag. Each page will have a unique one.

    For your blog, I picked the http://sundoglit.com/submissions/ page as an example. The unique body class name for that page is "page-id-10."

    So you could add this to hide the header and main menu on that page:

    .page-id-10 #masthead {
    	display: none;
    }
    .page-id-10 #main {
    	padding-top: 30px;
    }

    Or this to hide just the header image:

    .page-id-10 img.custom-header {
    	display: none;
    }

    You can experiment with those selectors and the padding number inside the first one until it looks how you want. I'd recommend keeping the navigation so visitors can still get around the site easily.

  3. Thanks!

  4. Cheers :)
