I have on occation back dated a post - usually a video. I do this just to know where I can find it again. How can I prevent the RSS feed from picking it up?

More explaining: If for example I date the post to some where in 2008 the RSS feed will immiately announce the post as a new one....

The thing is that RSS (and email?) subcribers will be informed about a new post. But I back date inorder to discretely make up for having missed the article or video somewhere in the past.
How can I hinder RSS (and email) in picking it up?
