   My blog has 700 posts and 4500 comments, when i try to export a XML FILE, it creates one XML file of 12 MB.

   but when i try to import it on my own domain it stops procssing after sometime. by double clicking that file, i saw following message in that :

   The XML page cannot be displayed

   "Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later."Reference to undefined entity 'raquo'. Error processing resource 'file:///C:/Documents and Settings/b/Desktop/wordpress.200..." error in line no 822.

   please help me.

   you actually want to right-click the file, and choose open with > and choose notepad (choose program... if notepad isn't in the initial set of choices). that will show you the contents of the file.

   Notepad is going to do some serious choaking on a 12 meg file. I'd use something like Ultraedit.

   You need to increase your PHP's timeout period. It's probably set to something low like 30 seconds. For 12 megs, I'd go with 10 minutes to be honest. Just be sure to set it back afterwards.

   This topic though is best resolved with the poster's host though or over at http://wordpress.org as it falls outside of what we normally do here.
