   I exported a file from http:thefundraisingcoach.wordpress.com to an xml file on my computer.

   I went the new blog (title: The Fundraising Executive, primary domain: http://www.eddiethompson.org) and selected STORE - DOMAIN - IMPORT.

   I selected the wordpress exported file to import.

   I received an email saying that the import was successful.

   When I go to The Fundraising Executive site or dashboard, nothing has been uploaded. Tried two other times. Reset browsers, waited 24 hrs, etc.

   At the bottom of the dashboard page for the new blog (The Fundraising Executive) under My Stuff there are a few messages like:
   
   "Updated: Planned Giving or Charitable Estate Planning: What's the Difference? (thefundraisingcoach) (Edit)"
   "Updated: MANAGING DEVELOPMENT: Getting the System Right (thefundraisingcoach) (Edit)"

   However the dashboard still has only one post - the standard welcome post.

   This should be a simple, straightforward process. Why doesn't it work?

   Can you please try importing from Tools -> Import instead?

   macmanx,

   I have tried TOOLS - EXPORT from The Fundraising Coach (http:thefundraisingcoach.wordpress.com).

   Then
   The TOOLS - IMPORT - SELECT FILE - UPLOAD from the new blog titled The Fundraising Executive (primary domain http://eddiethompson.org).

   Tried this several times. Deleted export file are repeated.

   Nothing is ever uploaded to new blog (The Fundraising Executive).

   macmanx,

   I am not sure why the import / export process is not working. I have found another want to accomplish what I want to do. I simply went to the old blog (The Fundraising Coach) and changed the name to (The Fundraising Executive).

   Then I went to the new blog I created, enamed it "test," and under SETTINGS - DOMAIN deselected http://www.eddiethompson.org as the primary domain. SAVE CHANGES.

   Then went to the old blog (The Fundrasing Coach (renamed Executive)) and tried added the domain http://www.eddiethompson.org. The error message told me that the domain was already being used. Can I assume that this is because it takes some time for these thing to change?

   I will try again later to select http://www.eddiethompson.org as the primary domain.

   I can actually move the domain for you. Can you please confirm exactly which WordPress.com blog you want listed as eddiethompson.org?
