I want to import a custom site to wordpress. I made an export function to produce a WXR file like this http://ipggi.wordpress.com/2011/03/16/the-wordpress-extended-rss-wxr-exportimport-xml-document-format-decoded-and-explained/
I don't know if the format in the above page is outdated but could find a specification for WXR.
For example I import a WXR file in a newly installed wordpress blog but categories don't show.
And another thing is the attachaments. How can I import them?
