   Hello there. My question's fairly simple, but with the GREAT luck I have, it seems things never work out the way they're supposed to -_-'' I'm trying to export my blog (http://www.clicheanime.wordpress.com) to a WordPress.org site on a free web hosting service: Freehostia. My new URL will be http://www.finallyanime.freehostia.com

   My problem is the following: I made the export file like I'm supposed to from my WP.com site. It's in XML & I use the import function in WP.org, but it just goes to an empty screen when I finish uploading...and there are no new posts...tags...categories...comments...nothing. Can someone please help me? And I checked the file size, it's only about 839 kilobites I believe. Definitely not 2 megs.

   The blog I need help with is clicheanime.wordpress.com.

   The import side of things you will have to inquire about over at http://wordpress.ORG/support/ which is where self-hosted wordpress blogs are supported. We cannot help you with the wordpress software you are using at http://www.finallyanime.freehostia.com/ .
