Facebook authorization doesn't work anymore

  1. Hi,

today I had connected my Blog to Facebook and Twitter.
I wanted to post my old articles to Facebook and Twitter, so I set up the publicize options. Everything works fine, I could post half my entries.
But suddenly, it didn't work anymore. In the edit screen of my articles the program told me that I have to authorize the connection to Facebook. I didn't understand because it was already working fine. I authorized it once more and I got a message that I had successfully connected my Blog to Facebook. When I wanted to publicize it, I got the same message again, that I should authorize the connection. It didn't work, no matter how often I tried.
I tried to logout, close the session and relog to my blog, same result. I deactivated the connection in wordpress and facebook and set it up once again, same result.

Do you have an idea what could have gone wrong and how I could fix this error?

    Thanks.

The blog I need help with is mnicklisch.wordpress.com.

  2. facebook connection frequently fail. I'm sorry but aside from pointing to the reconnection process I can't help with this http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-facebook

  3. Hi,

thanks for the advice. I've tried that, but I have the same result. Any chance it will work again tomorrow or something or should I try something else?

    Thanks in advance.

  4. Alternatively you can use RSS Grafitti http://www.facebook.com/RSS.Graffiti for posting to Facebook walls if you prefer. RSS Graffiti periodically checks the RSS/Atom feeds that you specify and posts any new entries it finds to the Facebook Walls that you specify. You can get any feed written on any wall (Facebook Profiles, Fan Pages, Groups, Events and Application Profile Pages). In fact, multiple feeds to multiple walls. You choose the combination.

  5. Hmm, sounds good. I will try that.

    Thank you
