hey.. is anyone there can help me with facebook like box widget...
i had entered my facebook url but it does not working at all..it say's" Could not retrieve id for the specified page. Please verify correct href was passed in." and i've done that couple of time. But, it still the same.
The blog I need help with is 52kilo.wordpress.com.
Hello. The Facebook Like box widget is designed to work with Facebook Page not Profile. This is stated in the widget. As much as people want this to work with their Profile account, it goes against logic — Profile is private and Page is public.

@creationography: Did you take note of what shimworld said above? That should explain why you are getting that error message. Otherwise, please provide us with the URL you are entering in the widget.
@commcompact: That's because it's a group. Facebook Like Box only works with pages, sorry.

Is it possible to create a Facebook "like" button on the sidebar of my wordpress blog that links to the Facebook community page for the blog? E.g., instead of just sharing the particular article or the blog as a facebook link, it would direct people to "like" my blog's existing community page on facebook.
@nsolish: If you have a Facebook page, you can use the Facebook Like Box Widget that shimworld mentioned earlier. It's among the available widgets at Appearance > Widgets. Have you tried it?

@leilajax: I can see your Facebook Like Box on your sidebar just fine. Have you tried the tips here?
