Facebook Like Button Displays Wrong Image

    When people click the Facebook Like button on my blog posts, the image that shows up on Facebook is one from the sidebar of my blog instead of from the post that was liked. Is there any way to get the right image to show up? It seems that having the appropriate image would make the link more interesting to others who see it on Facebook. Thanks for any help you can give!

    The blog I need help with is preciousadornment.wordpress.com.

    I did a forum search and found an answer here >

    If you have FB sharing enabled, just click the FB button on your post and you get a pop-up page of FB where you can select the thumbnail.     Hi, thanks for the help.

    My question is about the Facebook like button, not the sharing button. It's only when people click the FB like button that an image from the sidebar is automatically posted with the link on FB.

    I'm having the exact same problem.

    We run ads on http://www.berkeleyside.com and when people hit the "like" button, Facebook shows the correct blog post but links to an ad image and not an image from the post.

    I am having the same issue with the FB like button. When a user Likes a post or page from the homepage it grabs an image from the sidebar and not my blog image or a post image. Whats up?

    I vaguely recall this issue from a related function a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, other than deliberately stocking your sidebar in the order of images you want, there's not much you can do.

    I hit the like button from the homepage at http://coachparker.org to one of the posts Animated youth football playbooks. I did not go to the post but liked it from the homepage.

    @raincoaster - ya but its grabbing a pic from one of the bottom weird you think they would just grab your blog icon or maybe set a feature image for the FB like
