Fatal error!? What do I do now?

  1. I keep getting this error after adding a mailchimp plugin: "Fatal error: Class 'MCFormWidget' not found in /home/content/06/9394006/html/wp-includes/widgets.php on line 324"

I cant access ANYTHING on my site or dashboard.

The blog I need help with is whoisdavidbingham.com.

  2. The blog you specified at whoisdavidbingham.com does not appear to be hosted at WordPress.com.

  3. 1) Cry

    2) Make friends over at WordPress.ORG as noted above - the fix is easy to get your blog back on line

  4. This just happened to me too!

Please post an active link starting with http:// to the free hosted WordPress.com blog you are asking about.

If you are not asking about a free hosted WordPress.com blog and are asking about a wordpress.org install then you must post to http://wordpress.org/support/

    For clarity read > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  6. Thanks, I was able to rescue it by accessing my site through FTP in the Mac Terminal. Took a bit to learn all the commands, but was able to delete the evil plug-in through there.
