Featured content not sliding since domain change

  1. Hi,

Yesterday I've changed my domain, and since ever the featured content is not sliding in automatic way as it was previously.
What can I do? I'm using twenty fourteen theme.
I'm only using the web, however I've noticed that some people download an application to manage the site: should that be a problem?

    My site is rubiterapias.com

    Thank you!

The blog I need help with is rubiterapias.com.

  2. The featured post slider is operational for me. In order to help you we need to know your specific computing environment details. Please work through what follows and report back.

    1. If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.

    2. If you are using an IE browser in compatibility mode please disable that mode. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html

    3. If you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/

    4. You can use this link to see if your flash is up to date. http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ If it’s not then go to http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/ and download and install the latest version of flash.

    5. Try using another browser.

    6. If you are not successful let us know:
    (a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
    (b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://www.whatbrowser.org/
    (c) Exactly what you experience including what any error reports you receive state.

  3. Hi,

Thank you for your fast answer.
I've tried all the indications and I wasn't successful. What makes me think that is nor a problem of browser is because yesterday with the same browser, same version, the automatic sliding was working, and today since I've changed for the new domain is not changing in automatic, only when I press "left/right arrow": so previously I had rubiterapias.wordpress.com and now rubiterapias.com, it is not running in the same way... should it be about DNS? ou some other thing I've changed to make it work?

Thank you once again for your help!

  9. Hi there! I'm afraid that for the Twenty Fourteen theme, the featured content slideshow does not automatically advance as you described. Additionally, switching to a custom domain could not have in any way affected the behavior of your theme. Let me know if you have more questions or concerns. Best regards!
