I have a WordPress blog (v2.1.3) here: http://www.anglicanessentials.ca/wordpress/. I have just moved it to a new server (98.130.123.177). Everything checks out, except the feeds.
I checked the feeds through Feed Validator (http://feedvalidator.org/):
From that, it seems as if special characters are not understood correctly. E.g.:
line 46, column 29: 'utf8' codec can't decode byte 0x92 in position 2974: unexpected code byte (maybe a high-bit character?) [help] THE ARCHBISHOP of Canterbury?s Anglican Covenant is not scheduled to be impl ...
The only possibly yellow flag I have is that the db was set up in latin_1_swedish_ci rather than utf8_general_ci. Neither means that much to me, but I have seen people talking about utf8 as a standard.
Any help here gratefully received.
Thanks,
Peter
