Fiction in Freshly Pressed?

Hi there,

So every now and then I scroll through the Freshly Pressed page and am usually disappointed by the lack of Fiction posts (none, really)

Obviously this can be seen as a self serving request, but also the number of flash fiction and short stories blogs on WordPress would have me believe I am not alone in my interests.

Am I just not visiting the FP page often enough? Are the flash fiction and short story posts not up to snuff? Should writers be doing something different/better to have a greater chance of being featured?

(I apologize if this has already been asked, I went through the first few pages and saw nothing.)

@idleideals, we work hard to make sure a broad range of topics are represented on Freshly Pressed every day, including fiction and poetry. That said, the relatively small number of posts featured each day vs. the breadth of what's being written about in the blogosphere means that every topic can't get attention every day.

I'd encourage you to keep reading, to take a look at the Support document timethief linked above, and to feel free to let us know about great fiction blogs - we're happy to take a look!

About "freshly pressed" :
Why I can n't read all blog ("The 100 best read" or "the 100 freshly" in french, like it was few months ago ?
