finding a template/style & not having wordpress.com at the end of the domain nam

  1. Hi

I really want to get started on building a site but I can scratching my head trying to find a template which is similar to this one: http://www.tinnakill.com/
I wonder if you could help in any way please?

I also want the address bar to be my website.com and not wordpress.com, can this be achieved?

i appreciate your time taken to reply.

    kind regards

    Robert Jones

The blog I need help with is castlefarmstud.wordpress.com.

  2. All of the themes here have credit links to the theme designer and to WordPress.com in the footer. We are not allowed to remove them.

May I remove credit links such as ‘Blog at WordPress.com’, theme, font, or toolbar links?
All WordPress.com bloggers are required to maintain the credit links, even our VIP bloggers. Please do not hide the footer credits or the toolbar with CSS after purchasing a Custom Design upgrade. http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/#frequently-asked-questions

I also want the address bar to be my website.com and not wordpress.com, can this be achieved?

You can purchase a domain mapping upgrade http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/

  3. Hi

Thank you for the reply. I am happy to leave the credits at the bottom of the toolbar that's fine.

I am basically looking for a template similar to that of http://www.tinnakill.com/ as i really like the layout and style

    Thanks

  4. The 220 themes we can use on free hosted WordPress.com blogs can be viewed in the Themes Showcase. http://wordpress.com/themes/ Volunteers and Staff do not assist with theme selection as it's subjective decision making process. We are focused on providing assistance with support issues only.

  5. Ok, thank you once again for the help. Someone recommended possibly using a wordpress style template so please ignore my ignorance as I didn't know volunteers made these templates.
I was purely looking to try and obtain a template or something similar. i will just have to pay someone to develop something for me instead.

    thanks

  6. No, don't do that. External themes cannot be used on WordPress.com blogs, so you'll be wasting your money.
