Fixing the display in the archives and the categories

Hi all, last week I changed themes, and I just now discovered that when I click on my archives or on a category, the ENTIRE post shows up on the page, as opposed to just the post title and a little blurb. I hate this! If this can't be fixed I will have to change themes, but hopefully there is a quick fix, css or otherwise? Thanks in advance!

The blog I need help with is notchangingmyname.com.

  2. What is displayed on Archives pages and Categories pages is theme dependent. And "no" you cannot change it with CSS editing or otherwise because we cannot edit templates or themes. Switching themes to one that displays what you want is your option > http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/03/25/full-posts-in-archive-pages/

How can I import /create/store archive posts of older content and not have them all showing as current posts and latest archive.

  6. When you publish a post on a WordPress blog the software automatically posts it on the dynamic Archives, Categories and Tags pages. We cannot edit templates or themes so what you see is what you get. We cannot remove the display of posts from the Recent Posts widget. The only control we have is over how many posts are displayed on the main page for posts, which by default is the front page of the blog. We can set the number of posts we want to display here Settings > Reading
