I need a workaround for this issue. On my old blog (http://regen2.blogsome.com), that WordPress installation would allow me to use
so that my flickr pictures would present properly with the footer underneath the text and image. I am told by Support that the 'clear' attribute is stripped out because it would break some of the WP themes. Has anyone managed to get this working? You can see what I'm talking about by comparing the way pictures appear on my new blog with the way they appear on my old (scroll down about halfway and look at the post marked 'Rings' for one example).
Note how on the new blog, the footer graphic (the grey bar) goes through the picture and the Comments/Categories are directly under the text, and on the old blog, the footer is in its proper location. This is because of the
being allowed over on blogsome.com, but I haven't figured out a solution for WP.com.
I have tried this with the default Flickr templates and my old customized template, and neither work. Suggestions, please?
