    I'm having the same problem.

I've had several friends and family members (non-Wordpress users) sign up to follow my blog, however none of them have received a confirmation email and I don't show any email followers in my stats.

I'd really love to get this fixed so my readers can have easy access to my posts!

    My blog is equalpartsofawhole.wordpress.com

  3. Same problem here. I received 2 emails from 2 "followers" indicating they clicked the "sign me up" button. I can find them under feedback but can't do anything with them and there are no stats on them. The message in the email says "unverified user." What do I do?

  4. Have these people checked their email client spam/junk mail filters?

I have tried to follow again this morning using one of my email addresses. The problem is that the confirmation email fails to show up even with a message on site that it has been sent. n this be fixed?

  6. With "fail to show up" you mean you haven't received any confirmation mail? Could you confirm that you checked your spam/junk e-mail folders?

Thanks for your question. Yes, I checked spam folder. No email.

  8. sapphireempire - could you please provide a few email addresses of people who have not received notifications of new posts or confirmation messages?

lhadden2012 - could you please start a new thread for your issue and link to it from here so we can help you troubleshoot more easily? Thanks.

  9. I'm having the same problem. I tested the follow blog on our blog and received no confirmation email. I've tried 2 different email addresses and checked the spam folders too.

Our blog is normally set to private, but I made it public so that I could test the follow functionality. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it.

I don't want to publicly post my email addresses on here but would be happy to send them to you privately if you still need some to troubleshoot.

What is the URL starting with http:// of the blog you are referring to please? Without it we cannot even begin to help.

  11. Right, ok, I just made the blog public again so that you can see it:

    http://hslref.wordpress.com/

    Thanks!

  12. susannagal - could you please start a new thread for your issue and link to it from here so we can help you troubleshoot more easily? Thanks.

  13. susannagal - thanks, I've replied there.

One of my email addresses used is [email redacted]. Start a new thread? Does this mean add a new post or add to an existing one?

  15. Sorry for any confusion - the note about starting a new thread was directed to another user, lhadden2012.

Thank you for the email address. That user is confirmed and is active in our system.

    You had said:

In order to investigate this, could you please send us your friend's email address? Thanks very much.

Again, no confirmation email was received to affirm [email redacted]. Nor does she show up as a follower on site. Perhaps you could attempt to follow SapphireStarRising and see what happens. Thanks

  17. good take me your email!!

  18. Do you think this is particular to certain theme pages?

  19. Hi there - as I mentioned earlier, the user with the email [email redacted] did confirm their subscription and was last sent an email from your site on October 12. Looking at your site, it does appear that your last blog post was on October 11.

You can see your email followers by going to your stats page:

    https://wordpress.com/#!/my-stats/

In the section called Totals, Followers & Shares, under the word Followers in grey, click on the "Blog" link. Then click the "Email followers" link. You should see [email redacted] in that list.

Just let me know if you need further help.

    Dear friends in WordPress,
Sorry for this, hope the WordPress administrator can read this. I went to the WordPress support page but their page said that they have only 19 WordPress engineers and have a backlog and could only attend to those who have paid upgrades. Don’t know whom else to send this to.
My concern: I’ve already removed/ deleted the “Follow” widget thru my dashboard, thru Appearance-Widgets, but…there is still a “Follow” pop-out that automatically appears at the blog first page, at the foot of the blog right-hand corner! It doesn’t go away. it’s colored dark-grey with white letters that says “Follow”. I tried changing themes but to no avail, it’s still there. I never asked for a pop-up like this, please help me remove it. If you cannot address this question here, could you kindly tell me whom to email. Thanks.

  21. marichulambino - could you please start a new thread for your issue and add the tag modlook? Someone will have a look at your issue. Thanks.

  22. Hi. I am trying to ADD the follow link to my page but nothing is happening. I have gone to Appearance, Widgets, follow my blog and pressed Save and Close several times but nothing is happening. I actually had th link up at first but now it is gone.

Please help! I feel like I am going in circles!

    Thank you :)
