Is there anyway that I could change my font to more of a calibri type font like they use on SI.com and ESPN.com on the wordpress.com format. I am going to be changing to the vigilance and I want to change the font to calibri or even arial.

To permanently change the theme's fonts, you need to have the paid CSS upgrade (and know what to do with it). Without that, you can only change the font of each individual post manually, by using this at the beginning:
<div style="font-family:arial;">
and this at the end:
</div>
In the html editor, of course.
Best limit yourself to font types commonly used by browsers.
