font issue / imbalance 2

  1. Hello. It seems that the fonts do not work when testing via css. Is there a line of code I need to add to override something in the theme?

    I'm not quite sure why the fonts will not work well in this particular theme.

    Thanks.

    The blog I need help with is gainesvilleobserved.com.

  2. gainesvilleobserved.com is forwarded (dns) to wordpress.com. I also have the upgrade package that includes the domain mapping. Does this mean I cannot ask questions in the forum because I have a domain at GoDaddy that points to wordpress.com??

    Nope, the previous reply was a mistake. I've removed it.

    Could it be your CSS is not correct? Can you reply back here with the code you tried adding that didn't work and describe your end goal?

  5. Thanks for the help with the flag on my post!

    I think I mistakenly made it seem like I was using css for the fonts. I am using the typekit that comes with my upgrade. I have since used a .jpg for the logo, but it seems that any font changes I test are not showing up in the preview. Actually, the body text seem ok, it was the logo, and now the headings, which don't seem responsive.

    I even used code I found in the forum (not sure if it's necessary).

    .post-title {
    font-style: normal !important;
    }

    Right now I saved headings with FF Market. And I haven't seen these changes at all.

    Thanks for the help.

  6. I was able to see the problem with custom fonts loading on http://gainesvilleobserved.com/ if I check in any browser other than Chrome. I'm going to do some additional testing. I'll report back here as soon as I have more info.

  7. I did some additional testing and I found that the problem only happens for the Imbalance 2 theme and only in some browsers. I've asked for additional help testing to make sure I've gotten the right details. Odd bug!

  8. I appreciate the help!

    It's the only theme I have had any issues with where the fonts are concerned.

  9. I tested several other themes as well. Next, we'll need to wait for a developer to help us out. Someone should reply back here as soon as there's any update.

    [UPDATE: Fixed in Oct 2013.]
