Fonts in Hemingway Rewritten

  1. Hello. Is anyone else having this problem? Sometimes when I open my blog the fonts in the posts are HUGE. Other times it's fine. And it doesn't seem to matter if I am logged into my account or not. Help?

I just made my blog live this morning and I'm not happy with the large font when it comes up, so I haven't publicized it yet. Otherwise I really like the simplicity of the design.

    Thanks.

The blog I need help with is jodihausen.wordpress.com.

  2. Hi Jodi,

I've been using that same theme for about a week now on my blog and haven't noticed what you're describing. I loaded up your site a few times and didn't see it either.
If you could answer a few questions it might help figure out what's causing this.

    • What browser and version are you using?
    • What kind of device are you using?
    • What operating system?

In case you're not sure you can find out the info here https://www.whatismybrowser.com/

    Thanks.

  3. Hi Sandy,

Thanks for getting back to me.

It doesn't seem to be happening anymore. I'm using OS X on a MacBook Pro, looking at it in Safari and Chrome. My partner checked it out on a PC at work in Explorer and Firefox and said it looked fine.

But I am curious. Do you know if there is a way to choose fonts in this or any of the themes (or do I need to go premium for that)?

  4. Glad it seems to be working now.
The only way to change the fonts would be to purchase the Custom Design product add-on.

You can preview what options it would give you by going into your Dashboard then to Appearance then to Customize.

In the right hand menu you can then go to the Fonts section and change the header and body fonts to preview how it would look.

  5. That's what I thought -- need to spend money I don't have right now ... oh well, I guess I'll look into it when I become a blogging superstar!

Thanks for your help, Sandy. Hope your rabbits (and kids) are doing well. I had a rabbit as a kid too.

    Best,
    Jodi
