   Im having some issues with the right-hand side of my footer widget at http://piteiraphotography.com/

   I have the 4 social media images in a text widget and the blog subscription widget underneath but the link from the facebook image in the text widget is somehow attaching itself to the text in the email subscription widget... Even if I move some other widget between them, the facebook link is still connected to the email widget text... I'm assuming this is a html thing and somewhere along the line I've got the code wrong, can anyone tell me what's going on?

   Hi. That's because your "A" tags are unclosed. Try the following code:

   I'm not sure if the following setting applies to widgets as well, but it's worth a try to prevent this type of problem in the future. Go to Settings > Writing, and check "WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically". Then click "Save changes".

   @airodyssey: Setting applies to posts and pages only.
