Please help with the slider for the 'Forever' theme. I have read all forum post relating to this and the theme details but still having problems. Can you give a detailed account of how to set the slider. many thanks

Featuring posts in a slider on your home page is easy. You just need sticky posts with Featured Images. Every sticky post you have (up to 10) that has a Featured Image (at least 888 pixels wide) attached will show up there. Easy!

I did exactly what was described on the theme showcase but all that seems to show is the header slider... Not sure what Im doing wrong???
Are you sure the featured images you set into posts that you also designated as sticky posts are the correct dimensions (at least 888 pixels wide)? If the images are smaller than the size required then the slider will not display.
what other slider do you mean? Do you perhaps mean the four thumbnails that appear under the slider?but all that seems to show is the header slider
To show only your four latest posts (with a Featured Image above each one, of course) in a neat grid on your home page just visit Appearance → Theme Options and click the checkbox there.
But I guess this is now irrelevant as you've switched to a different theme. :)
