I have seen the format menu in the tutorial, but cannot find it on my dashboard. I want to use the quotes format. Please can you let me know how to change/select formats in twenty eleven. thanks Blarney Crone

Thank you. The theme you are using supports post formats. You can select the format when you are editing a post. See here:

If you don't see it, check your Screen options on the top right corner while you are editing a post.
thanks, got it. I am feeling quite needy today so hope you won't mind if I ask a couple more questions. How can I make an image appear in my main nav side bar. At the moment, it appears as a small square with a red x. Also, can I add more than one image/gravatar. I would like to use several custom menus in my top nav, to reduce the number of single pages. Is this possible with twenty eleven? Blarney Crone
