Hi, I recently changed blog theme to liquorice, and i have removed any of my own additional css code, but when I format the text using bold or italics, it shows in the blog editor page but not when published. Can any help? thanks

Can you give us an example of where this is happening on your blog so that we can take a look?
Also, are you putting the bold and italics in using the buttons in the visual editor or are you putting it in by hand using HTML?
What i can see is that probably the theme style css information is overridden by the css file in http://s1.wp.com/?custom-css=1&csblog=10anI&cscache=5&csrev=21 where the em, strong etc font-style is made normal. Probably this is your custom css file. Removing this block redefining these tags properly shows your webpage contents.
