Formatting posts: wrapping text around an image

  1. I'm surprised this was not easier to figure out, but I am wondering how to simply wrap text around an image in the post. I have added an image in the post editor, but it sits inline I think, so the bottom of the image is a "baseline" where the text begins also. I just want the text to smoothly wrap around the image.

Also, is it possible to add some padding space around the image?

    Thanks!

The blog I need help with is yourboulderhome.wordpress.com.

  2. We can't help without a link to the blog, starting with http.

  3. I managed to get the text to wrap by inserting the image from Upload/insert options just above the text editor - not from the "img" button on the text editor itself.

Publishing the post it seems to have automatically added in padding, so I guess that's that. Is there a way to finetune this formatting, like padding, or wrapping?

    thx.

  4. You can click over to the HTML editor and strip out the Caption code that is in square brackets, and then add in whatever padding you like or remove it altogether. Play around with it. This might help:
