Formatting Problem with Andrea Theme

  1. Hello. I am new to WordPress and have started a blog using the Andrea Theme:

    http://graysintheshade.wordpress.com/

One of my posts titles, "Buddy", shows up at the side where my links should be, rather than at the top of the actual post. All my links and stuff are way at the bottom and the footer that states the theme is "Andrea" is huge and covers my links. I tried both "fixed-width" and "flexible-width" options but neither fixes the formatting problems.

Thanks for any help and I apologize if I am missing something really obvious!

The blog I need help with is graysintheshade.wordpress.com.

  2. This is most often caused by an open HTML tag in one of your posts.

Go to settings > writing and select "WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically" and then click "save changes."

Now, starting with your latest post, open it in the editor, switch from the visual tab to the HTML tab (waiting for the page to refresh) and then switch back to the visual tag (again waiting for it to refresh), and then click "update post." Check your blog and if it is back to normal, you are golden. If not, open the next post and do the same thing till it goes back to normal.

  3. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

    It totally worked!

    THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!

  4. thesacredpath,

That worked great! Now do you have any idea where my links to other sites went? They were on the left side of the page before :-/

  5. Never mind! I futzed til I fixed it.

    Thanks again!
